My Children's Filter is Broken

At the end of the day, as my husband and I are talking about our day, there's always a few stories to share about the kids. Kids truly do say the craziest things, and my kids are no exception. One of my favorite stories about Isaac was from about 3 years ago - he was just 2 1/2 or maybe 3...
We were sitting with a student eating pizza. A larger woman walked by and Isaac says, "Wow! That man is wearing BIG pants!" I died a thousand deaths. I was sure she heard him. Not only did Isaac comment on the BIG pants, but also said MAN!! She was a WOMAN! If she did hear him, she didn't even flinch. I make myself believe that she didn't hear him. She was at least 5 feet away.
Well tonight, Madison may have beat the record for saying the craziest things. Just as we were leaving church, I invited a friend of ours over this week for a Biggest Loser Finale party. I love that show. I'll blog about that later. And Madi looks at him and says, "YOU should be on Biggest Loser!" Oh my word. Thank goodness he didn't hear her. But she was kind enough to REPEAT IT. "I said, 'YOU should go on Biggest Loser!" Oh dear Lord, please return now for your beloved ones. Yes, my children's filter--you know, that filter that stops you from saying things you really WANT to say, but shouldn't--is broken.
